Ya-hsuan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from National Tsing Hua University and a master’s degree in natural resource management from National Taipei University. The focus of her master thesis is the institutional change of coal resource management in China during the last five decades.
After the studies, she worked for the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction in Taiwan and gained experiences on climate change adaptation and data analysis and visualization. There, she worked on projects on the analysis, interpretation and visualization of climate projection data, as well as the communication of climate change risk with different stakeholders. Her interest lies in the shaping and design of environmental policy. At alchemia-nova, she worked on ReCO2ST project.
