Christiane holds a bachelor’s degree in Environment and bio resources management and a master’s degree in Aquatic ecology and is curranty studying Environmental education in Vienna. In her research she focused on modelling human impacts on aquatic organisms in Austria.
In previous jobs she gained experiences geographic information systems and ecosystem mapping. She has co-shaped and participated in inter-generational and inter-cultural community garden projects based on permaculture principles. Her special interest lies in the components needed for people to act environmentally responsible and perceiving their lives to be fulfilling as basis for sustainable development. Therefore, she was engaged with concepts of green pedagogy, service design, storytelling, sociocracy as well as on communication skills. With this background she designed and conducted multiple workshops for schools related to multiple nature-based topics. At alchemia-nova, she works on HYDROUSA and HOUSEFUL projects.
